It reads fuel level accurately when standing but the gauge giggles around while driving , but at least I have a pretty good idea of how much fuel I have

My gas gauge gave up on my original sending unit after my truck hit 48 years old and I was getting tons of trash in my fuel filter but not anymore with this new sending unit. My gas gauge is now accurate and not always reading way over full and it comes with a new sock and my fuel filter is staying clean. You do have to drop the tank to replace the sending unit, can't lift the bed because the sending unit is halfway under the cab and about half under the truck bed. While you are at it order some high pressure Ethanol safe rubber fuel line from or you might be dropping the gas tank again.
