Not an easy replacement to adapt to your existing 1 1/2 inch standard drain pipes, slightly oversized! will not slip joint fit into existing plumbing either PVC or metal. I had to carefully file down the diameter (which I stress careful so as to not create flat spots that could leak), sand smooth, fit , adjust, fit again... NOT HAPPY with the extra time spent. I purchased locally coupling and other pieces to adapt this and still would not fit leaving me with either a refund or adapt what I had purchased... I chose to adapt. If you are fitting into a rubber coupling sleeve you may have good results, however you might not like the final assembly. Fortunately the gaskets are rubberized and forgiving so you can make it work if you spend the effort, but save yourself the grief and try another brand sized properly

We were doing a renovation on our kitchen and the issue was dishwasher drain hook up and connecting the kitchen sink to the household plumbing. Which was a pain in the ass considering that our home was built in 1942, so after trying some other options I tried this and was able to hook up the dishwasher drain and kitchen sink to the main drain line. I only wish that I had bought this earlier because it would have saved me some time.

I needed to replace my old pvc pipes under my kitchen sink. I went to Home Depot and became overwhelmed with so many parts. Checked on Amazon and found this very handy kit. I was able to adjust and install myself (28 year old female). Very easy and simple. I am truly grateful to have found this. The 1st and 2nd pics are what I received from this distributor and the last pic I included was my old set up.

They are just like the drainage kits I've seen at HD and Lowes, but they wouldn't fit the area I needed. I kept them as backup for other sinks since they were very cheap and the gaskets seem likely to hold.Anyone that needs to do a weird sink hook up due to older plumbing with a high main outlet, save time and go with a SnappyTrap as it saved me a lot of time building this "LEGO set" (as my son called it) to find out it wouldn't work.Anyone with plumbing after the 80's should be fine to use this!

Goes together pretty good don't forget it's inch and a quarter not inch and a half for the ABS to insert into this kit for your install in North America
