Got a good deal during Prime sales - considering shipping and item is heavy. Wheels came assembled, and only required to bolt on rails and cushion. I don't expect the cushion cover to last as it feels like PVC. But this can be repaired in any local upholstery shops, so not a big deal.

The Blackjack Rolling Creeper Seat arrived promptly considering that it came from the USA. It was delivered to my door and was fairly easy to assemble. It has proved helpful in enabling me to remain fairly low to the ground to clean out low-down cupboards, sliding door tracks, etc, as well as move along without the need to get up and down multiple times. The tray underneath was useful to contain cleaning products and cloths. I think that people who have physical limitations would find it a useful tool to add to their household.

I originally purchased a small non-rolling stool to use when cleaning the wheels on my sports car which is fairly low to the ground. That proved unsatisfactory as I missed the obvious benefit of mobility provided by the wheels. When this Torin rolling shop seat arrived, it was clearly the better choice.Assembly was a little time consuming but in no way difficult or particularly challenging for anyone with rudimentary skills and a few basic hand tools, none of which are supplied. The stool went together nicely and once assembled with all fasteners tightened, it proved to be a strong, wobble free seat upon which I can confidently bend down to clean and polish my wheels. While it rolls easily, I do wonder if it will be entirely stable on my somewheat wavy concrete garage floor. Time will tell. The vinyl covered seat is a thick nicely padded cushion that is firmly attached to a pair of substantial nicely finished, powder coated metal arms which are themselves firmly attached to the base which holds the usedful compartmentalised tray.As I noted earlier, it all went together relatively easily. The end result looks to be a good investment for the amateur mechanic/car detailer who would otherwise struggle with cumbersome boxes or non-mobile stools. This is a far better option and one that will save considerable strain on your back were you to use another less satisfactory means get to the wheels.

It was awesome with the price I paid no problem. My motto is you get what you pay for, it does the trick.

I bought this because I needed a seat with wheels, I was a car mechanic for 10 years and have been fixing things for 30 years. Torin is a brand that I trust. I have had a torin car jack and a creeper before so I bought this creeper seat. It was easy enough to assemble and feels strong and durable. The tray under the seat is nice to have. I am happy with this seat.

’m getting old, and my knees have seen better days. Every time I wash my vehicle, I either don’t do the wheels, or I do a rush job, because it hurts to get up after squatting for a long time. I began a search for a rolling stool that would help me, and this little gem is the winner. There are many versions of rolling mechanic stools, but the only real difference I could find was price. They all had the same type of inexpensive caster wheels, they all had a very thin, plastic tool tray, and they all had a padded seat. This one was the most inexpensive, even considering that freight place by the harbor (which has much less padding, and no tray compartments). The base comes pre-assembled with the plastic tray and wheels already attached. The only thing to attach are the seat, which has two heavy steel bars that go under it and across from one support to the other, and the two U-shaped supports.I decided to put the long support bolts in from the top down, instead of from the bottom up as shown, because if the acorn nut does come off, I didn’t want to lose the bolt. I can find a nut much easier than a bolt like that.I had it fully assembled in about 5 minutes, and it works perfectly. I’m 185 pounds, and it feels very sturdy to me. If I was a great big person, I imagine I could easily drill and bolt, or even weld a couple of short supports to close the “U” in the front. But at my weight, it seems very sturdy. The black plastic tray was broken in two places where they pre-assembled the wheels, but it still works fine. The seat is nicely padded, and fine for short jobs. I wouldn’t want to sit on it all day, but that’s not what this is for.Another reviewer made a great video, so I’m not going to bother – although my stool is flat and does NOT wobble.I think this is a really great rolling stool for roughly 25 bucks, and my knees are very thankful.Hope this helps.

This is a really nice and comfortable creeper chair for doing work around the car. Assembly was very easy, and all you need is a Phillips screwdriver and two pair of pliers. The price is pretty good too. My only reservation is that the plastic tool tray is rather thin, and I do not know how well it will stand up. Also, I am 235 lbs and I am worried that the 250 lb limit will not stand up well. I am going to install two supports under the seat, as they have on the Torin chair with a 300 lb limit. If they had done that, this would be a 5 stars chair. Not so sure how well the tubular steel on this version will hold up to my weight, vs the heavy duty steel version.
