Monkey fist rods slip so I suggest using telflon or rubber washers under knobs to prevent this. Soft metal frame and will bend if handled or stored roughly.

The buckles are not fastened on the jig so they can jump off. Being metal, it tends to slide around on the work surface and it is difficult to fasten the moving terminal.

Perfect for beginners and professionals alike. Solves the problem of how to hold the braid while working on it. Excellent for bracelets, necklaces, and other long braiding. Even comes with a monkeys knot jig as a bonus. Got one for myself after I saw how good the one I purchased for my brother was. Had him making bracelets in minutes with only a little help from myself.

The only con is the length measurements on the frame do not take into account the buckle length. So keep that in mind when setting up the jig. Otherwise this thing is awesome!
