Ordered 100' roll, got 6" more. There are distance marks on the cable in meters, so you know how to plan the run or how much you have used..I would class this cable as either "heavy duty RG-58" or "very light duty RG-8". Radius bend 1", compared with 3/4" for RG-58 or 1.5" for RG-8.The OD is 6.11 mm (0.240") (specification for RG8X is 6.14 mm). There is a copper braid over an aluminum foil covering over the inner insulator. It takes a fair bit of persuasion to remove the foil from the inner foam insulator.A caveat: I attempted to use crimp connectors, but that was abandoned in complete frustration. The crimp ferrule was 6.40mm (0.250") inside diameter. The connectors I had (for 58/8X) increased the OD to 7.65mm (0.300"). Be careful of the crimps you use!! I gave up on the crimps and went to the UG175/PL-259. Soldered well, and works wonderfully. Definitely recommend. At $60 TNIP for 100 feet, not exactly a supreme bargain, but then, what is any more? I would say price "fair". The local radio shop had the cable, but more expensive on a cost/foot, and no discounts :(The 8X can handle more transmit power than the 58, and offers a bit less loss/100feet. More robust for little price difference. For short runs (under 20 feet) on 150 MHz, I'd stay with RG-58. For 400 MHz, >50 feet, definitely 8X, but I would use LMR400 hands down instead.

Not what I would call. Flexible you bend it it retains its shape. Wouldn’t recommend for automotive

Coaxial cable is so expensive for just a little roll. This roll is 100 feet at a great price! I can string my cable all over the yard and still have plenty left over for other projects!

This mini RG-8 is of good quality and is double-shielded. Great for many uses.Would recommend for runs no longer than 30ft on higher frequencies i.e. 144-450 mhz.On lower frequencies, i.e. 30Mhz (50ft), 10Mhz (100ft) reasonable losses.
