This door lock is great and easy to carry around when traveling.doesn't take space and is made really solid.worked in 100% of hotels and motels that it's been tried on.even when the door is unlocked it was impossible to open from the outside.no trickery is possible form the other side of the door to get it open.the whole family felt much safer with this gadget and it takes less then 10 seconds ton install.also great to lock yourself in a room in your own house if neededpros:quick and easy installationsolid materiallight and easy to carryworked on all doors so farcons:none reallyoverall score A+

It broke, was hard to fit into the door, didn't work, my things were still broken into. Not very secure.

Great product, when it fits the door. I stayed in a motel with no dead bolt. Thank goodness this lock fit that door. Although I was afraid I was not going to be able to unlock it and get out of room. It's little scary to use, because it feels like it could damage the door trying to close it and open it with this lock in place. I may just need to use it more. So, this is why I'm giving it a three. When I did use it, no one was getting in my door unless they kicked it in. The lock worked. It's light weight and comes with a travel pouch. Versatility? We'll, I guess you could use it as a make shift food utensil in an emergency. Don't ask me anymore questions.

My friend and I brought this on a vacation for extra security. We were in a fairly safe place but it was nice to use for peace of mind while we slept. This has a nice weight to it and felt really solid/strudy in the door. I went outside and tried to open the door when it was unlocked and couldn't open it even with force (enough force that is acceptable without breaking a hotel door obviously lol).I would recommend!

I was really upset to spend the money and it just doesn't work on my door. Not sure how it would work on any door, there is a metal lip on the piece that goes over the lock so it's impossible for the door to close. Wish I could return this product but I waited too long and now this will end up in the garbage.

This one is sturdy but it didn’t work at a couple of hotels on a recent trip through the US. I brought two different types and I figured at least one of them would work. Both failed to fit on the same hotel door locks. They worked at home but hotel doors are different.

This works great on almost any door. My 14 year old uses it for hotels and washrooms, especially when travelling for sport events. Easy to use, yet surprisingly very strong. I tried body checking a door with this in place, and the door would not budge.
