Low cost, works as advertised, zero false actions or failure to launch in about two years of use. Perfect. All Amazon products should hope to work so flawlessly. The most difficult part about the installation was hefting my 75 pound ladder into the house to install this thing. Installation took about 15 minutes (including ladder hauling) and worked first time. Oh, and the remote just sips battery power. Still on the (included) generic batteries and working just fine. A+ for this one!

Works decently. A few quirks. Could NOT get the beep function to stop with just the remote. Pairing mode is activated bt holding the 8H button on the remote for about 5 seconds. I did not use the Smart Life app but rather chose to use it with Tuya Smart. This enables me to (with a bunch more steps) use it with the LocalTuya integration for Home Assistant. From the integration I can now turn the beep off, turn the light on and off and turn the fan on and off. I still havent figured out how to change the fan speed with LocalTuya. It's only been a few days but it seems to be working ok. Things of note are that the controller does not support reversing the fan direction and will not dim the lights. Not a bad unit.

Extremely easy to wire. I wired it on a workbench first with a light bulb and oscillating fan to verify everything works. No instructions came with it for pairing it with Smart Life App but googling "pairing Yukihalu remote with Smart Life App" brought up instructions. Basically hold down 8H button for more than 6 seconds within 3 minutes of powering on the receiver puts it in pairing mode, then it showed up in Smart Life App automatically. I then linked Smart Life App with Google Home App and I can now turn on light or fan with voice commands!

I bought this because it stated "Smart WiFi Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit, Small Size and Universal, 4 Speeds and 12 Countdown Timing, Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Smart Life App, No Hub Required" and after I installed it, I find that there are no instructions on how to pair it with any of these services. Only to find out that it has none of these capabilities. Now I have to hire an electrician to install another unit with my desired functionality. I am really burned by this. Misleading description.

This is a replacement for the original remote and receiver that was giving me issues for a couple months. The old receiver was a lot longer but was narrower by a millimetre. I snuggled to fit into the space where the old one came out of. Otherwise it is a really simple install. I thought it is a good product and was a great price. Would recommend it.

Instructions are clear and easy to follow. One of the 2 kits weren’t working, got in touch with the seller and they were more than happy to send a replacement. My son is so happy that he can control his ceiling fan with a touch of a button. 10/10 would recommend!

This little remote is super easy to wire up. There is a black and a white wire coming from one end of the receiver to connect to the ceiling's wires, (and in this old house we only have two wires coming from the ceiling). Then the other end of the receiver has the wires that connect to the ceiling fan and they are color coded to match perfectly, so no thinking or guessing is involved. The only thing is, the receiver does not fit between the bracket attached to the ceiling, and the other bracket that holds the ceiling fan, but it's easy to secure it by threading a long plastic tie through there and snugging it up against the brackets... then the motor housing easily slides over all, making it a good fit. Just leave the yellow antenna wire peeking out the top of the housing. One thing to remember.... the pull chains for the light must be pulled to the on position, and the fan pull chain must be pulled three times to put it in the fastest position, in order for the remote to control them. I forgot about the fan's pull chain and nearly took the entire thing apart thinking the wiring somewhere must have come loose when I shoved it all up in the brackets, as the remote would only control the light, not the fan.... NOPE... just forgot to pull the chain for the fan!And make sure your wall switch is turned on -And you cannot use a dimmer wall switch with some fans. Like the model I got. A dimmer switch will make the fan hum loudly. I had to install a regular light switch and then it worked perfectly and is completely silent. And on that note, this remote does not include a dimmer feature. The light is either on or off. That's fine with me because if I want low light I don't use the ceiling light anyway.

I purchased this to replace a ceiling fan remote that stopped working after a thunderstorm, mainly due to the lowest price amongst the options of Amazon. Installation was straight forward, made easier due to my fan being set up for remote installation. After three weeks of use I am pleased with the product, it does was it said it would do in the ad.Pluses: Low price (~$10), uses AAA batteries, and separate “on/off” buttons. Neutral: at first, I did not like the beep” every time the remote button was pushed, but it is good to know that the receiver at the fan has received the signal (the beep comes from the receiver at the fan, not the remote). Also, there are features that I do not see me using much: the time delay shutdowns, I tested the 1 hour, it works, I just do not see a use for it, I see no use for the “natural breeze” setting that automatically varies fan speed. The lack of dimmer is not much of an issue as I found the dimmer on the original set up finicky and did not use it much anyway. The remote is larger than the original and has blue buttons which make them more visible when mounted on the wall. The wall mounts work well. After installing and using this one for a week I purchased two more to replace other failed fan remotes in my home. All were installed in the same style Harbor Breeze ceiling fan that originally came with remote control, and are working well. Update 9/12/24: all still working as new.
