I am not sure why but this case just does not work. It is the same as my old one. The lock button on my old one would not work. I put the old electronics in this one, plus a new battery. The car starts fine but none of the buttons work (open, lock or panic). I have no idea why. Everything is identical looking and fits the old electronics.Just a waste of money for me - maybe it will work for you. I just bought a whole new remote and a programmer. Just not worth even returning - too much hassel and having to go out in winter for an old man is not that beneficial.

If the metal contact tabs have separated from the rubber buttons and you've tried every glue to repair them - this is your fix. Install the circuit board from your's into this fob and you're back in business. Great value, quality materials - pretty sure I spent more on glue

It took 2 mins to take out my electronic components and put in the new remotes! As easy as changing the battery!!! New remote also hooks right into the old key or you can get the key cut for your door! Went outside and everything worked!! Quick shipping! I ordered this morning and they were here by 7pm!! Don’t pay big bucks for a whole new remote when all you need is the shell!

This product is great. It is the casing for the electronics of you keyfob. It saved me a bunch of money by allowing me to repair my keyfob. On my Key fob, the little metal cups that the electronics uses to register the button presses broke off from wear. I bought this and used the rubber button piece with the metal cups from the kit and placed it in my old plastic housing to resurrect my key fob. Note: If the electronics inside your keyfob have failed - this item is useless to you. It is just a replacement plastic housing. If your buttons no longer press down, than the metal cups have likely broken off of the rubber button piece. Take your FOB apart and verify. If you find the tiny metal circles no longer stuck to the rubber button piece, buy this to repair.
