Our local hydraulic shop has gotten outrageous with their hose pricing. We've had a crimping machine that we just didn't utilize till picking up this kit. It's worked well, but would be great if it had some specs on what the crimping should ideally be afterwards. So far, we've only used on attachment hoses, and nothing critical that someone's life/safety could be compromised.

This is really high quality hose and I wanted to rate it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the fittings are way too big and when they're crimped they get pretty deformed trying to get them to cinch down nice and tight because of that. I still love the hose and will use it with other fittings, but the included fittings really are the weak spot in this set.

Awesome kit if you need to make up a bunch of lines. Sturdy wire wrapped hose and heavy steel fittings, this makes a proper full pressure hydraulic hose, not the chinsy slim hoses for lower pressures that you often see in kits like this.Would be nice if there were a few more fittings included, but great either way!
