I would strongly recommend you do not buy these plastic landscape edging stakes unless your soil is very loose and soft. We bought the stakes and the first two we tried to use snapped off with only one or two strikes of the hammer. This is definitely a case of you get what you paid for. The plastic stakes from Home Depot cost more but were much more sturdy and effective.

I have bought the name brand spikes before but they are crazy-expensive. These are just as good quality at a much more reasonable price. I will be buying these again.

Hard to stick in dirt, as bend and brake. I usually buy 8 inch spiral nails. Ran out, ordered these to try. I am sure I will find another use for them.
