I would not trust this stand to actually hold 500+ lbs for any real length of time. However, it comfortably holds half that weight. The parts fit together a bit roughly, but securely enough to not fall down. The method of attaching the bottom leg section guarantees that the joint will be loose. It won't fail, but it makes the whole stand feel much less stable. Fortunately, I have other uses for this stand. If I add another aquarium, I think I will build my own stand rather than trust to cheap commercial products.

This Azaeahom 20 Gallon Fish Tank Stand, Metal Aquarium Stand with Adjustable Non-Slip Foot is nice.This is a nice fish tank stand. This was easy to install. It holds a loaded fish tank well. I like the lower shelf.It looks great. I don't see any stand out problems. Everything looks great. I like it.
