Found a set of 10 drain plug gaskets that fit my Mercury near mint 1995 25HP Lower unit. I drain and refill yearly as annual preventative maintenance. Seemed like a decent gasket that should have no problem sealing the lower unit from the water. From my part list, it shows it being Mercury Marine Part # 191832. Great value for a 10 pack of gaskets.

This 10 pack of gaskets for $7 seem to be very good quality gaskets, but I found a 16 pack for $6, so a bit high priced. These do a much better job of sealing than the bolt by itself or hard plastic washers. These fit standard 3/8” lower unit drain bolts and should be compatible with most Mercury outboard. I would give 5 stars for quality but ended up at 4 stars since the price per gasket is a bit higher than the competition.

These are made of a good high quality material the will keep your drain plug from leaking. They are high density and will not break when torqued down. They are compatible with most Mercury/Mariner outboards and all Mercruiser models, including Mercury Marine 12-19183 & 12-191832 12-191833, Mallory Marine 9-60101 & 9-60102, Sierra Marine 18-2945 & 18-2244, SEI Marine 98-102-09, OBR Red Rhino MR-103, GLM 31170.

In a Nutshell - Nice looking quality gaskets, but $9.99 for 10 it is a bit steep.These are constructed from non-asbestos sealing material, and do a much better job of sealing then the hard plastic washers. Designed to fit your standard ⅜” drain screw and should be compatible with most Mercury outboard,Pro tips - always ensure you’ve removed the previous old washer, and given the hole a close inspection to ensure there's no old gasket still in there.Final Thought: look good snd better than some others but $9.99 for 10 is about $1/each, which is steep.
