Bought it for my 06 Road Glide after I snapped 2 sets of 16" apes. The top clamp fits under the trim and ties the risers together keeping them from twisting and cracking the bottom of the bars. The thrust from the torque combined with the leverage on 16" high apes has twisted the risers causing the bars to snap at the hole where the concealed wires come out at the bottom of the bars. I only wish I thought of using the top clamp plate before I snapped my second set. I'm waiting for the 3rd set of 16" meat hooks to come in and I get to snake the wires a third and final time. Anyone that's done it knows how much fun it is (not). The price I've paid for my addiction to HP and Torque 2 sets of apes 2 clutch hubs and 2 final drive belts 🤦

The handlebar top riser clamp with skirt is well-built and fits my Harley Softail perfectly. It adds a nice look and improves comfort by adjusting the handlebar height. The quality of the materials feels solid, and it looks great once installed. However, the installation process can be a bit tricky, especially if you’re not experienced with bike modifications.
