God tool? but there is an unexpected problem: The motor is powerful, but the working tip and hose get very hot. It is difficult to work with the most abundant lubrication. Especially in summer. Very unexpected for such a tool.

This unit seemed to have an issue with the shaft overheating from the start... All of a sudden, the shaft broke and is no longer usable. I guess this is why the brand name ones cost more...

Ad said new but this thing was used.Had been already unbaged looked to be throw back in the box by a previous customer.Scraches on the tool chuck.If it was for me. i would care but this was a gift... talk about embarrassing.LOL instruction manual looked was it was from a trashcan.I Dont know if thats how that cable is supposed to come, but this one saperate from the black screw thing..dont think thats how its suposed to come as.

I dislike that this unit does not have a brake on it. When let off the foot pedal it slows down and eventually stops. The motor has a lot of torque so if you start too quickly the entire motor twists quite harshly.

I did take out the shaft and grease and will be doing that every 40 to 50 hours.

I pretty much never buy a product with 0 reviews, but I've been wanting a flexshaft tool for quite some time, and couldn't afford the Foredom. There was one other that was $50 more than this one, but I am thrifty (cheap) and I thought I would give this one a try. I used it quite a bit the first couple of days that I had it, and honestly, it is working just as well as the Foredom I have used in a local silversmith shop. Not too many of the attachments will be used for what I am doing, but I have my own attachments for drilling, buffing, sanding, etc. It's easy to change them out, and the motor has plenty of power. The foot pedal is allows for variable speed, and is easy to control. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase, and I'm looking forward to days off work so I can spend more time with it in my studio! I will update if anything changes.
