Reduced my time to lower pool levels by almost 3 times! Helps save on energy use and time spent on doing these tasks, especially over the long run. Let alone, saving $1000 a year to open and close the pool by others.

I bought this hose to go along with a Foting pump that I got here on Amazon in case we get flooded again. It's more expensive that many other discharge hoses of the same size out there but I did not want a hose with rings that I have to assemble myself. It's easy enough to do but in my experience with gas pumps, most of the time the hose will leak or drip where the ring is installed and sometimes the ring will detach when the pressure rises. I paid more to get a hose that has "proper" fittings already installed permanently. The hose comes tightly rolled up in a compact box. It has an adapter to hook up another length of hose if you need one. I connected it tightly to the pump (the pump has a 1.5" connector) and tested it twice for leaks. Everything was fine and I was surprised at the pressure of water coming out the end. Since this hose has a reinforced exterior, it can handle more pressure than most vinyl hoses I see here on Amazon which is what I wanted as well. Check the specs ! It really looks like a smaller version of a fireman's hose if you want an idea of the way it looks and feels. If an emergency happens where I need a good quality hose and pump set up in a flash, I don't want to dilly dally with screw on/screw off rings on cheap hoses that leak. I believe I paid more and got more. One more thing: Once tested, empty it of remaining water and it's super easy to roll up.

I bought cheaper plastic hoses in the past and the constantly break causing water to shoot out the sides. This hose is indestructible and having 100’ makes life easier when backwashing or closing the pool.

I’ve had an above ground pool for 3 summers but already went through 3 blue tubes from local pool companies. Those were complete crap.This one is solid and will last very long. I don’t see pressure make holes through this material unless you really force it. Also very resistant to branches or other obstacles that could be placed between your filter and the street sewers.

Don't buy the blue hose when you can have a much better quality hose like this one. Every year I've had to replace the blue hose not cheap for a bad product, now I should have at least a few years before I replace this one. Same price as the blue one but much better quality, and screws on the pool pump or the sump pump that I use to lower the pool water for winter. Must have for your pool oh and it comes with an adaptor I had no use for it but nice to have.
