Holder does exactly what it needs to do and holds poles nice and sturdy. Have been using for a few weeks almost daily and plastic knobs and threads are doing just fine. The only drawback is the metal shaft itself is a little on the short side. When you really drive it home, your pole sits in the ground more or less when in more of a vertical position. If the base was 6 inches longer it would be a home run.

Have other styles of holders and I spend more time adjusting them or tightening them but these stay in the position you put them in. Love these better then the more expensive ones I had.
