How To Use :
Step 1: Clean the soil moisture probe.
Step 2: Insert the probe into the soil about 2-4 inches.
Step 3: You can quickly get the moisture reading in less than 10 seconds.
Step 4: Remove probe from soil and wipe clean after each use.
Tips:
If the soil is too dry and the indicator will not move, water it before testing.
1.Do not use soil moisture meter to test very hard soil.
2.Do not leave it in the soil for long periods of time.
3.Never use it to test water or other liquid, designed for testing soil only.
4.After use, please wipe clean the soil moisture probe.

The 3-in-1 one just broke after two weeks. I put them indoors without direct sunlight. The moist meter still works.

These soil testers work well. The dial is large and they respond very quickly. Simply made but work well so far. Larger prob model will be used to test the soil outdoors while the shorter one will be good for indoor plants. They each come with a cleaning cloth which is a nice touch. If they last these will be one of the better soil testers I have used.
