Resin Pads
Resin pads are made up of fibers and organic material that are bonded together with resin.
Pros

These pads are for lighter weight riders, and riding where lots of brakes are not required, like cross country, and riding in flatter areas. One thing I really love about the organic pads, is that they have a large amount of initial grab, this is a personal preference and you may not like this. When running these pads with smaller rotors, they will "manage" the heat better, meaning your oil is less likely to boil, which would cause a loss of power. Another great thing about resin pads is that they are much quieter, I know I hate brake squeal, and I'm sure you do too. One big disadvantage of these pads is that they wear out quicker, which means more replacing, and potentially more brake bleeds. Also don't run these pads when it is muddy, wet, or even very dusty conditions. It is suggested that if you are running these pads, you occasionally sand the surface, to remove the glaze.

I bought these for my Shimano BL-M615 brakes. Easy install and after wearing the first layer they had good stopping power. They were not loud on my bike, still need to take them on a good ride downhill.

Got these for my sons mountain bike. Worked great on his shimano brakes, fit perfectly. Stops on a dime. Good bonding experience and we even changed out his brake fluid as well.

I was riding with these pads on my mountain bike and out of sudden one metal pad just went flying. I was in a steep area and had no more brakes on the rear... I don't reccomend this product at all and I have never seen a wear like this so quickly.

i bought for my M6000 brakes, i replaced G02a pads.it is good for price but what i dont like it was at the first time when i installed pads doess not stopped bike, after 1 hour (pedaling the same time i pulled brake to burn it) it starting working well,it is not strong pads it is good pads but for price is excelent !!!

I have an electric Yuba Mundo cargo bike and I'm a large person, so I go through brake pads more quickly than the average cyclist.These (semi-metallic!) $10 pads strike a good balance between price and quality. I can get OEM (resin!) Shimano pads at my local bike shop for ~$10, so these Corki pads come out to about 1/2 the price for "better" pads. The quality might not be quite as good as OEM semi-metallic pads, but I've had little to no glazing or noise with these Corki pads (whereas I've ALWAYS had that problem with four-pairs-for-ten-bucks pads that I've tried).These are now my go-to brake pads -- I always keep a set on hand!
