Bought this pair to support another pass through for my HF setup. I have to go under a window sill and dint want to spend $50 on another Comet CT50. These are not nearly as sturdy as the Comet, but get the job done without much loss. One of them did experience a break resulting in poor SWR so good to get a pair. At this price a good deal.

This is a cleaver way to get your antenna cable into your shack without needing to poke holes in the shack wall. Unfortunately, both ends of the cable have female connectors, so a gender bender adapter will probably be necessary to connect to the antenna input of a radio.

bought it to use through window and noticed today that i had no audio when keyed up and traced it back to the antenna feed coming through the window.

I was afraid that they are going to affect swr on my antennas but they didn’t , at least not significantly, and i can close the windows now.

Thought I was being slick when I found these for my GMRS radio. NOPE. Nothing slick about them. Used a quick fix for getting an antenna outside inside and still having the window closed. These cables are horrible. They cut my radio transmission distance literally in HALF. They feel flimsy, and no because they’re flat and that’s the design, they look like they’re barely held together with hope dreams and a little Elmer’s glue. Avoid this things unless you’re just doing some passive scanner receiving.
