Went together pretty easily. One cap was bent, so took some effort to get that on and it's a bit difficult to screw/unscrew the cap. Every single zip tie provided broke, thankfully I had bought some 2 ft zip ties for another project. Beware the zip ties, if that's your plan for mounting them.Overall not perfect, but these were cheaper than buying the PVC.

While the cost for the pvc pipe is essentially what it costs at a hardware store or big box store, the design for the metal bands and placement against a wall are worthless. Because they used a metal band that is too short to save money, if you attempt to install the pipe against a flat surface, the metal band doesn't actually work as the pipe is too wide to allow you to screw it in on each side. Probably why they don't show it installed with the metal band where you can see both sides with screws. Oh well, I already rigged a different setup to allow it to hang on the side of my coop. Fyi for anyone worried the chickens wasting too much feed, use a large grid hardware cloth like you would put together for a bunny cage over the feeding end and secure it with a metal band with a clasp that you use a screwdriver to tighten. Probably a better idea for all this trouble to just buy the stuff at home depot. Hard pass in the future.

I was going to put together some of these to feed my chickens. I went to the hardware store to buy everything not thinking much about the price. By the time I got everything I needed to make 3 of them the price rung up to over $150. I put everything back and found these on Amazon. They're not quite as big as what I would've made, but for the price and ease of putting it all together it's a great buy. I haven't put them up yet because I've been slacking but they're easy to put together. I just need to hang them up and fill them up.

The product looked pretty good, but didn’t fit in the space I needed it too, so I had to return it

I thought this feeder would work really well.No problem for my six chickens to get to but the amount they pull out is a big waste of feed.Feeder is kept under the raised coop so no worries of water getting in. I discovered the feed half way up the tube was wet and mushy so now I have to empty it out and find an alternative feeder as I wouldn't risk them getting wet and moldy food. Don't know why this is happening but the waste alone is not what I would have expected from the price of it.Not impressed 😕

I’m giving 4 stars just because my chickens are still wasting food not as much as before so these have definitely saved me money I just wish where they eat from wasn’t so big and they held more they are a little on the expensive side and I didn’t use the metal bracket that came with it just because it would have been to high for my chickens to eat from but a zip tie holds them in place no problems they don’t fall apart
