As a mechanic I use these on my coveralls to keep them up away from my shoes, avoiding tripping hazzards and keeping all the elements from ruining my clothes and my day, especially working outside on a bad day its one less thing to think about.I have also never broke one and they never come undone. Much better than any alternative like a cut up tire insertI have one in every location and i give them away when I see a coworker in a similar problem
