These patches feel tough, and I expect them to survive a battering on hikes. They're about 2 inches/5 cm, so have a good surface area for the velcro hooks to stick well to loop patches on clothes or bags. They come with a plain velcro loop backing to keep them clean when not in use.Best of all, the reflective red cross is very bright and easy to spot - these do a great job of marking first aid equipment so it's quickly identifiable.

I got these to cover up name brands on 2 hoodies because I'm not big on brand labels on my clothes. I got these and used Gorilla Glue Fabric Glue and they look nice and stayed on fine. If you have multiple velcro patches, you could even change them out if you wanted to.
