I couldn't give a damn less about the Tesla stuff that comes with this, but as for its use with other vehicles, it seems very useful! I've been making due with 2 different emergency repair kits and this one package helps me get rid of both of those other sets.

Perfect kit for my boat trailer! Rather than trying to dig around for my factory jack in my truck, I can keep this one in the boat in case something ever happens! Built very well and is more than sufficient for my 3000 pounds boat+trailer. The wrench works flawlessly and love that it comes with a lug wrench with multiple sizes. AND a zip up case! Seriously cannot beat it! Perfect for Tesla owners who need a pad, but I just use a block of wood instead to lift up the trailer axle.I also opted to keep this kit over a bottle Jack kit so I don’t have to worry about leaks and having a peace of mind on the reliability of this kit. Great value for what you get!

One of the unfortunate cost-saving measures made by car companies (I'm looking at you, Kia), is they no longer include a spare tire. I guess free road service takes it's place. However, with no spare tire is also no car jack. Now, occasionally I resort to rotating my own tires, so I found myself short one key tool, so when this jack came available I got it.This is a basic scissors car jack but it is equipped to be used on a Tesla, which uses a different car frame jacking point. This jack comes with the Tesla accessory attached with screws, but you can take it off and use it on cars with the more common frame "notch" jacking point. I tested it out and everything seems strong and secure. The difference I found in this product is there are 2 tool accessories needed versus just one as found in more traditional scissor jacks. One tool is basically an oversize ratchet wrench used to raise/lower the scissor jack. It works fine but it doesn't really catch until you raise the scissor arms up until they are pressing on the car frame. You can use your hand to do the initial raising. The other tool is a telescoping lug nut remover/tightener. I've never seen a tool like this. When it is extended it can rotate, making lug nut removal/tightening a bit easier. It works.Overall, I like the weight of the jack (feels heavy duty) and feel more confident in its strength based on the fact Teslas are heavier cars than average.

The first impression I have with this jack is that it's no different in design then jacks that came with new car for decades... at least the cars that I've bought. Upon closeup, I noticed that the put securing into car's frame is not the typical vertical "blade" that goes perpendicular to the "'rail" that runs from front to rear tires on each side. From instruction manual the "alley" can fit to the rails and that make sense to me. But the key part of the product for Tesla is a round adapter that has a peg to fit in one of the 3 holes next to each wheel well. I tried this on Model X and it fits perfectly! The handle is kind of at a weird (45 degree'ish) angle and not so firm in rotating to elevate the jack. However, it can extend which is nice.. but to me seem that would work well only if the handle is at a 90 degree angle. The other tools to help with wheel nut removal are nice to complete the set. My wheel nuts seem to have covers on them individually so I'll need another tool to remove them first.

I love this kit and that it came with a bag and everything. Unfortunately, new cars do not come with jacks anymore, and this is something that I needed just in case I got a flat while hauling the kids and their friends to this game in that game. It is on the heavier side, but not too bad to carry around when need be. Easily compactible into the back of my SUV takes a little to no space.
