I bought a two-pack of these buckles. One buckle works perfectly, but the other has a large bubble inside the compass, making it unusable.

It looks like the flint and steel work but the compass on it is just for show. On one from my package of 2, the compass doesn't move at all. On the other one it only moved 180 degrees and doesn't even attempt to point to north. Would not trust the compass to navigate me a city yet alone in a survival situation.

I was disappointed in the compass part of the buckle. out of the 10 compasses only 2 worked properly. the other 8 had big bubbles in them and did not accurately. I am sorry to say that I would not purchase these again. It was a big let down
