And raise the bridge screws then re radius your strings to the fret aord....them come back and thank me.Basically these, when used properly an sotnalled correctly....make your guitar much easier to play. I also find better sustain...maybe it's squeezing the sustain out of that sliver of wood....idfk

Saw cheap ones before that said tapered and angles printed on them but were just thin plywood basically, random thicknesses and no taper at all. Saw these and the reviews, gave them a shot and they're great. Trimmed down slightly to fit an old '60s ES355 copy I had and definitely helped lower the action.

No reason to shell out for StewMac and expensive shipping and import tax with this pack. Stacked the 1 and 0,5 degree ones on a tele with an awfully routed neck pocket and finally have an acceptable neck angle.

Just as good as Stew Mac shims. Stacked there will be a huge change, so if you buy one of these kits you will be sure to get a good angle with your strat/tele. The angle is clearly visible when looking at the shims which gives me the idea that the angle is correct. I used these to set up a 70's strat since the micro tilt destroyed my previous neck.

Installed the 0.5 degree shim to raise the neck in the pocket and adjust its angle on a bass that was proving hard to set up. The shims are well-made and worked well.
