It is fairly simple to assemble but could have used some washers for the pivot point and spacers since the pivot point also has a fair gap on either side of where the frame comes together. Mine also came with a nice scratch in it from the factory. If it was a local store I would have brought it back. Since it's Amazon (and I don't want to have to drop off for return and wait for a new one) I can live with it, but the review reflects my feelings towards design oversights and finished quality.

Not the best build quality, quite flimsy. Its definitely not for the road. I'm not going to move it around much, just using at home so it works for me.

Bought this after comparing several different products. This looks nice, sturdy and simple, and could hold 5 acoustic guitars if you wanted.
