I am a complete novice with this type of pad, but the kit looks fairly robust compared to other types of sanding and grinding discs. The main backing pad/plate is solid rubber with a threaded insert to connect to your tools. The hook and loop surfaces look fine. The individual discs are flat and look well made.I'll get a chance to try this out on some quartz in a month or two. I'll update the review at that time.

I like to devise solutions for my wood shop from simple, adaptable components rather than buying an expensive single-purpose readymade solution. That gives me not only (possibly) a savings of money but also flexible parts which can be applied to several needs. So when I wanted to speed up honing a set of old plane irons to fresh, clean 25° bevels, I pulled out my GEUMZSW 4 Inch Diamond Polishing Pads.First I used my miter saw to cut a scrap 4”x6” beam square on one end and 65° (90°-25°) at about 6” length. Next I stood this simple 4”x6” “honing platform” on end on my drill press table and chucked in the GEUMZSW backing pad spindle. Now I was able to slide my plane iron, or other tool to be sharpened, from side to side, bevel up, in contact with the Diamond Polishing Pad. Starting with 100, I gradually worked up to 400 grit, carefully checking the blade edge for square and 25° bevel. There is very little risk of ruining an edge by burning since the polishing pad’s open grid is air cooled as it spins. After a couple of minutes I could finish sharpening with a few strokes on my extra-fine diamond bench stone. Soon I will try using a very fine grit GEUMZSW Diamond Polishing Pad, with water, to polish into perfect alignment some very slightly irregular spots on my cast iron table saw.——————-My stars: 5 meets/exceeds expectations, 4 very good with minor flaws, 3 check it out carefully, 2 probably a poor choice, 1 useless junkSharing is life’s greatest joy

First, the polishing pads are printed with the grit, so it's easy to identify what they are. They're also color coded, though there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I had a marble (I think) top shelving unit, and needed to get some light scratches out. This made it easy to cycle through the grits, and remove said scratches. Note that they want you to use this below 5,000 RPM, so be sure that you don't exceed it. I'm not clear with what happens if you do, but it doesn't sound like it's a good idea. You will need a backer pad, because they don't include one. I wish they did so you had an all in one solution, but it's not a big deal for me, I have some on hand. I'm not familiar with the brand, but they seem as good as any others that I've used.

I was retiling our kitchen backsplash with glass subway tiles. Not difficult, until you get to the ends. At least half of the subway tiles need to be trimmed at the end, and with glass I can't just leave them with rough square edges. So I used these pads, lightly misted with a spray bottle, to add the bezel and polish the ends. They worked perfectly. The ends are now clean and clear just like the center of the tiles. I didn't notice any significant wear on these after trimming and polishing more than a dozen glass tiles.I'm now confident that I can also use these when I redo a countertop in the bathroom to polish the quartz counter after cutting for the sink.Overall highly recommended.
