I was shocked when I saw how small the box was compared to other Leca I have purchased. These are half the size. The size of a small pea. Such a waste of money. I have to buy other leca now as a 5 pound bag isn’t enough for one plant. Annoyed.

Used these for some hydroponic growing and they are great. I also use them for drainage when growing amaryllis for the holidays and they were great for that as well.

The Leca growing is trending now. It is actually very cute to look at. I simply placed them in glass jars and filled it up with water. I placed unrooted cuttings and could see the roots clearly getting formed. Unlink soil, I can never over or underwater my plants. No more root rot and fungus gnats.

Works as expected. Easy and neat way to grow orchids and simple to use with hydroponic set ups to help roots stabilize. Packaging was good as the bag is thick and strong which didn't leak any dust.
