They're consistent, haven't had one damaged so far i ordered 2 packs, i used them to replace ps2 thumbsticks along with a Analog Stick Drift Fix For Xbox 360 from heldergametech.com

I have an XBox360 controller that is so old, the white plastic housing is turning yellow over time. The left stick started to drift recently and these definitely gives that old controller a boost in life. After the replacements of both sticks, no more drift. For $2 a piece, these are definitely worth the money. Note, replacement does require de-soldering and soldering a new one in, so keep that in mind before you purchase.

My son said that they were not as accurate as the OEM parts, but he also said that the difference was so small that he could barley tell. This was a cheap fix for a controller that no longer would move in one direction. Note: the factory solder was a real pain to remove and I'm no expert, but it did only take about an hour to get both thumbsticks replaced.
