When the lens hood is attached the lens cover will not fit over the lens - so either one or the other.

1. Not compatable with Canon lens caps so you have to remove it when you want a lens cap in place.2. The longer petals leave a shadow in certain zoom configurations on the picture.3. Very cheap and threads are hit and miss as to if itll cross thread or not.I returned this as it’s useless for my needs.

works well little finicky to get screwed in, but solid when correctly assembled. BE CAREFUL NOT TO CROSS THREAD! will destroy hood threads if you do

I purchased 2 of these. They arrived yesterday (2 days earlier than expected, which is a good thing). Haven't taken many photos with them yet, however, the few I did take are just as nice with the uv filters as they are without, which is wonderful. It's great having some piece of mind at such an affordable price. They come in a plastic case for storage and microfiber cloths are included. I would definitely purchase again, and will whenever I get another lens.
