Hoses burst sometimes and Mr Murphy says it will be the most inconvenient of times almost always. Each one of these repair splices will replace about 4" of burst hose and let you maintain the same length of hose overall. They are priceless when you are in the field on a remote jobsite and a line goes down that brings your piece of equipment to a screeching halt until you get a new line. All you need is a way to cut the hose above and below the burst area, (A cordless grinder with a cutoff wheel is perfect) and a couple 8-12" adjustable wrenches or the correct box end wrench according to the size of the repairsplice you are using. Super easy compared to the cost of a trip to town to drag your old hose in and get it rebuilt which likely kills your job at hand for several days. perfect fit for all your hydraulic emergency needs.

Any heavy equipment mechanics would be fools not to have these in the Box this is cheap insurance easy way to get a machine back up and running right away while you go to the parts store and get a hose made keep your customers happy keep your boss happy make your life easier just a no-brainer by two by two set to be able to leave in service on equipment as a repair not just a temporary fix. These are totally worth the price and should be owned by everyone that owns a tractor or any kind. Eventually you will break a hose. Theses are good quality repair fittings that can be left in place for long term service or just temporary fix. Either way ull wish u had em when that hose breaks or small leaks becomes a huge leak...

Bought this to keep in my rollback with me. This will be a lifesaver if you ever end up on the side of the road because of a hydraulic line issue. Could be the difference between making it home and a very costly tow bill. Hopefully I never need it but it'll be on the truck, just in case.

An assortment of sizes for emergency, "get home" use in cause we have a hydraulic line fail on our boat. If you have a hose fail due to wear, for instance where it goes through a bulkhead, and was not properly protected, these emergency common sized repair connections can be used to replace a damaged section of hydraulic hose and prevent costly tows or ruined vacations! Cut out the damage hose section, and replace it with the emergency repair couplings. Once back at the dock, replace the hose, and don't forget to remove the emergency repair splice, because they are reusable!

I got these after I had a hydraulic line blow out while working and then watched as my machinery would not move. This kit is great to have when you need a quick repair to at least get you back to a shop. It may seem a little expensive for what you get, until you know how much time and money, they can save by you having them there when you need them. They are made well and I hope that I never have to use them, but I am sure at some point I will and I am sure they will perform as expected. I now carry these in my tractor, so that I will not be stranded in the middle of a field again.
