These ziplock-style luggage pockets fit Carnival's printable luggage tags well. The blue color of the plastic is a bit darker than I would like, but the tags are readable and you could argue add a bit of privacy. I feel the metal loop is significantly stronger than the standard way of attaching the tags with a staple / tape. The clasp unscrews quickly and the rivet / hole in the plastic tag is far enough in from the edges I don't think it will rip through easily. I also like how the tags are waterproof and not single use.

These are the perfect size for my upcoming Royal Caribbean cruise tags. These holders are offered in several colors- I picked neon orange so that my luggage would be easier to identify. The sturdy thick bags have a zip type closer. The metal attachment ring threads through a metal grommet and are independent of the holders opening, so the cruise tag insert can be added or removed without undoing the loop (this can be seen as either a plus or a minus). I no longer need to worry about the paper tag being torn off as my luggage is moved on and off the ship. I like these so much that I ordered an additional set in a slightly different size as cruise tag shapes are not all standard. I'm sure I will find other uses for these handy holders.

We are avid cruisers who long ago learned that just taping or stapling your Royal Caribbean luggage tags is asking for trouble. On just about every other cruise we get a note in our stateroom indicating some passengers didn't get their luggage delivered, and the ship's staff is asking everyone to double check their bags (these notes often arrive on day 2 or even later - by then it seems extremely unlikely that anyone would not have discovered had someone else's bags been delivered to their room, but I guess they have to ask.)So we strongly recommend using something like these. We've cruised out of Florida many times, where downpours can happen quite regularly. If your bags are awaiting loading on a cart and get caught in one of those (and we've seen this) your paper tag quickly becomes a soggy mess, and is at great risk of detaching from your bag altogether (take a sopping wet paper tag, load it onto a cart where it is rubbing against numerous other bags, and it's no wonder that paper tags go missing.) And once your tag detaches the crew has no way of knowing where your bag belongs. And believe it or not, some people still don't use other tags with their luggage. If you're one of those, and your paper tag detaches, your luggage is either going to be misdelivered (the staff may guess that bags found together go to the same room) or wind up in the hold down in the bottom of the ship. But the crew won't know whose they are, so they'll have to wait for you to contact them.These tags are sturdy, and the cables are stronger than the paper tags themselves. Using them can eliminate one of the concerns travelers have when cruising. And they can be used over and over...
