I don’t have anything bad to say about this product. I have it place around my artificial tree that I have indoors. It looks so real. You would think it was real wood chips. I am very happy with it. And to know that it is organic, and bug free.

The texture is exactly what I was looking for. Though it is quite wet (water comes out when you squish the larger chunks) and has a strong earthy, almost mushroomy smell like it has been sitting outside decomposing on the forest floor. This is very different than the fresh, earthy smell of the coir you rehydrate from blocks. I’m not sure if this is good or bad sign, but I’ll probably heat sterilize it first before using it for my indoor plants just in case.

The package is supposed to contain 8 liters, but it has a bit more than 7. I measured it with the measuring cup and keeping it loose. So I think it is quite expensive.

Consistent from bag to bag. I use it with my alocasias, hoyas, phalaenopsis, philodendrons, monsteras and begonias. Excellent substrate.

I used this to make a lovely chunky aroid mix and it’s really nice. It absorbs the water nicely and is a nice colour and scent. Would recommend to any plant lover.

I’m glad I purchased this brand. The coco is a nice mix of fibres and chips. The contents are slightly moist and smell fresh. I hope I don’t have any issues with mould growth in the moist bag but that’s TBD.
