These covers do a great job keeping the UV rays and rain off of the lawn/pool furniture. They are a thin material and probably should only last a year or two. My material lasted about three years, then it becomes brittle and is easy to catch on something when applying or removing cover and then rip. The drawstrings are great as they allow one to size the cover to fit the furniture. It also allows for tightening such that the cover hugs the furniture so wind cannot remove the cover. My biggest concern is the cheap drawstrings. They come with a drawstring keep that will not work. The spring becomes faulty and will not hold the drawstring taut and therefore allows the wind to catch the cover and it blows away.

Great cover for any lounge chair. Blocks UV rays from sun and has a string tie for securing to the lounge chair in case there is a wind. Good price and fast shipping.

We are so glad we got this but note you will need to spray with water proofing spray. The chairs were wet from just dew in the morning - even with the covers on. When it rains - forget about it! HOWEVER once we sprayed it down with a water repellent we were completely satisfied. We sprayed the covers down and so far it’s done the job even through storms. The covers protect the chairs well and don’t fly off. They look neat and are exactly what we hoped they would be. Just be sure to pretreat and let sit for 24 hours without getting wet - then it’s perfect. The covers are a nice material and to touch them you would swear they are waterproof/resistant. They can be. ;-)

These covers fit our lounge chairs perfectly (although we do have to put the edges underneath the legs because we live on a windy hill). The covers have protected the chairs from sap, rain, falling acorns and strong sun. They are very sturdy for the price.
