I used the n52 timing tool and first the pin for the crank was too large 8.05mm, even if the hole is a little bit coroded, after wiggeling it sould go in there. sanded the pin to 7.98mm and still not going in, ended up using a 7mm allen L shaped key that is 7.85mm at it's ligest. Lost a lot of time by hand sanding the pin of the kit, i have a 2009 x5 xdrive, i had to fit the pin trough the top of the engine as i had the front diff in the bottom. It's impossible for me to see the hole, it took me some time to understand that the pin simply DONT FIT.Then the tool to position the cams fit a bit tight over the cam slots,and finally the tool to position the cam plate is not properly machined, one of the holes is off witch makes it impossible to position the tool in both cams in same time.If there is something you don't want to mess up on your engine it's your timing, these tools MUST BE extremely acurate.now i will have to grind the pin that is off and hope that the cam plate will still be in the right position when i'll get in it.I don'T know about the rest of the tools in the case, not expecting a lot better results.not imprest at all

I disliked the fact that I had to grind the crank lock pin, other wise it was a great tool.

When we were ready to use this product, the holes do not line up on the cam. Has anyone else had this problem?
