This is the carbonator for those who are trying to avoid plastic in their diet. It is extremely simple to operate and makes very fine bubbles that stay in the water in the glass bottle for a long time. The whole family loves it. The one thing they could do to improve this is to give the option of connecting a 5 or10 pound CO2 cylinder instead of buying the small refills from them.

The Aarke Carbonator Pro isn't worth the money.1. It adds carbon poorly. You often have to push at least twice, so you'll run out of carbon fast.2. You can't see how much carbon you added. The sodastream had a really nice sign, showing how much carbon you added.3. The bottles are NOT interchangable. So each Aarke Carbonator requires it's own bottles, which are way too expensive. Very bad design decision you can't use the bottles on each Aarke.We regret we bought this carbonator and definitely do not recommend buying this.

Worst product ever! Malfunctioned since the beginning! Now 18 months later; does not work at all! Going to buy another Soda Stream.First off NEVER BUY SOMETHING THAT IS A THIRD PARTY. No customer service. Amazon did not help at all! If Amazon sees something the service is amazing, no complaints! Over $400 wasted!

I love my new bubble maker. Simple to use. Fits right in my kitchen. The carbon loading bay is a bit tricky but figured it out eventually.

For this kind of price and quality (Stainless steel) one should expect outstanding performance, yet despite repeated carbonation in the same water/drink, there was almost no CO2 present, more like a 2-liter pop bottle after sitting half full for a few days. Pathetic performance. The vendor was not helpful, sent me an email asking me to take certain steps to ensure we had the right canisters and using it correctly. I wrote back and confirmed that we took all the steps recoimmended and we had the right CO2 canisters (Blue Soda Stream brand) and tlod them I had to hear soon as the 30 days for Amazon returns was running out. They never replies so on the 30th day I sent it back to amazon, and that was an ordeal in itself. They initially asked me to send it by Canada Post and pay for return, even though it came by courier and the return was supposed to no charge as a Prime member. I would not recommend the product.

I've had the SodaStream Power, and Aarke 2 carbonators, and the Aarke Pro is by far the best in terms of efficiency. The CO2 canister lasts way way longer in this machine than it did with the same usage in the other machines. Love the glass bottle, it's very sturdy and way more presentable when you have people over than the plastic bottles.

Compared to a SodaStream this is a very premium soda maker. It's made with high quality materials, and the sliding mechanism of the carbonation chamber is super smooth. It's very satisfying to use. If you want something fancier than a plastic SodaStream this is the one to get. However, while I'm happy with this soda maker there are still some caveats that keep it from being great.1) It does not come with a CO2 canister. For $400 that's pretty crazy. At this price it should be ready to go straight out of the box. It also only comes with one bottle, but that's not as big of an issue.2) Like the SodaStream it only carbonates water. That's what it's supposed to do so it's not exactly an issue, though I do think that for $400 this should be able to carbonate fruit juices and wine, not just water. If that's the kind of soda maker you're looking for the Spärkel and the DrinkMate can both carbonate any liquid you want, and they're much cheaper.3) Twice now I've locked the carbonation chamber down, and then when I started to carbonate my water the machine popped open and threw water everywhere. I've checked and it seems to be an issue with the design of the locking mechanism. Sometimes it doesn't lock all the way. Now when I close it I gently try to pull it up/open just to make sure it's actually locked in place. For such an expensive soda maker that's not really acceptable.Overall it's a good soda maker, I just don't think it's priced right for what you actually get. And the locking mechanism needs a redesign.

This product arrived as advertised and in good condition. 6 weeks later it had stopped working and I contacted Aarke US, February 27, 2023. They responded 3 days later with some options to try and suggested to send proof of purchase, etc. if the options did not solve the problemm. I submitted the proof of purchase and all documentation requested, plus a video. Nothing has been heard from Aarke since despite numerous attempts to get their attention. This is supposedly a premium unit over Soda Streams offering and you pay a premium price. Based on my experience it is not. I have had a number of Soda Stream units that have served me well over many years and benefited our children when we wanted to change the look in our kitchen. I think it is time to invest in another Soda Stream and put Aarke down as a learning experience.

I’ve been waiting a long time to get a sodastream but didn’t want a plastic piece of junk that would end up in a landfill in a few months time. After extensive research I decided to get the Aarke Pro and couldn’t be happier. It’s expensive compared to the competition but it’s a beautiful statement piece and (hopefully) will last for many years of use.
