Works as intended. It has been probably 4 years since I changed the old one for one of ACDelco ones. No issues whatsoever. Florida winters and summers. It is still going. Ordering a new since I have to change waterpump because I like to change the thermostat and the engine temp sensor when I do a coolant job just to have the peace of mind.

I started experiencing overheating. Didnt initially think I needed a new thermostat since the mechanic shop supposedly replaced it two years prior. After replacing the temperature sensor, I purchased this thermostat and installed it on my car myself for the first time. A year later and no issues with the thermostat and the code on my reader went away.

I received this O.E.M./ AC-Delco thermostat from Amazon, whereas it was a perfect factory fit replacement and hence replaced the old stuck shut one with just over 135,000 miles on the old unit, causing the motor to dangerously overheat!.I'm extremely pleased with my purchase, for it cost less by buying from Amazon than the local parts store, that didn't AC-Delco parts!. "Above all I'm back on the road and providing for my family with the overheating issue resolved on my 2002 Chevy Venture". (Engine is running so much cooler now with fantastic heat in the cabin, coming out of the vents.)
