Fits in my space well and keeps my guitars neatly organized. I put my small amp on the bottom shelf, and did not install the metal LP dividers, preferring to keep my record collection on a different shelf.

Peices came in loose and broken, no instructions either. Basically looks like I bought a returned item.Edit: tried to put it together and this thing looks like a modern art piece, every leg is a differnt length. If I was stuck in a snow storm I wouldn't even burn this thing for warmth.

This is super helpful. It's sturdy and perfect for record storage. My boyfriend likes that it holds 5 guitars and has an outlet for amps etc. The only thing is that it would be even better if it came with some kind of rubber or felt padding where you store the guitars. We had to buy felt to add to it so the guitars wouldn't slip or get scratched. It's still really nice, 4/5!

Like several other reviewers said, the thin, smooth bars that are supposed to hold your guitar don't have any kind of coating to make them less slippery and are far enough apart that your guitars WILL turn sideways, slide off them, and fall on the floor. I remedied the issue by covering the bars with a yoga mat, but I shouldn't need to DIY a solution for this thing to perform its basic function! One of the parts of the stand that I received was also a wrong one. I was still able to assemble the stand, but now the top bar isn't divided into sections evenly: one of the sections is way too wide, and one is so tiny I can't actually fit a guitar neck in there without scraping the strings.

The idea behind this is good, but the execution was a little lacking. The bars that the guitars sit on are metal, and the guitars slide off, potentially causing damage to the finishes.I added some rubber tubing over the bars that contact the guitars, and this seems to help.NOTE: This was clearly designed for acoustic guitars as the spacing for electric guitars allows it to drop between the two supports. If soft foam were around the support bars, the design would be much better.I can recommend this product, but with the above mentions.

I love the look of the guitar stand but unless all you have is acoustic guitars the electric ones tend to slide. I ended up putting a small pool noodle across the bar to keep some of the guitars from slipping.

All thing's considered it’s a good design and easy setup but if your using it for electric guitars you’ll have to modify it slightly, the metal they rest on is flimsy and slippery witch causes the guitars to twist and slide off. Simple fix just go so your local hardware store and get one length of 1/2 inch foam pipe insulation and slip it over, cost me under $5 I didn’t lose any sleep over it.

I had to make adjustments bought pipe covers 1/2 in .To cover the metal parts where instruments would sit.Works really well.I could have use 1/4 in pipe covers for The little metal dividers but I just used tape to secure the 1/2 in ones so they would not slip off.You can see in 1st picture.I like the fact it can hold other instruments I have my baritone ukulele, classical guitar, acoustic guitar ,tenor guitar and octave mandolin.I also like the shelves and plug in including usb.Its not supper sturdy but think it’s strong enough for my home use.It organizes much better than having 5 stands sprawled across my living room .

We'll... We put it all together, it's defective. It doesn't safely hold 5 guitars. There's a gap on the top bar that is too large and another piece wasn't lined up properly so we couldn't put a screw in it.Seller please contact me (I can't find the "contact seller" button!) I don't want to have to take it all apart to return it. Maybe the seller can send me a new part for the defective parts?

I would recommend this for acoustic guitars and maybe 1 or 2 electrics. But to hold 5 guitars in total is a bit much. It looks decent overall to save space and add a few decors to the shelves make it look nice. I kept the lower shelf off to add my 20 watt amp so its easier to access without having to keep pulling it out from storage. I added pipe form for protection so the guitars don't get scratches or dents from the unit. This system is great idea to quick access to your guitars without having to hook everything up to play. There's enough space to place a pedal board underneath the guitars like a Line 6 Helix.
