This tool is a great accessory for use with my 3D printer. Its razor sharp and the pivoting head makes it so easy to shave the plastic finer than a hair. I was trying to use my utility knife to cleanup the prints and it was very difficult and really impossible to shave the plastic the way this deburring tool can. It is definitely the right tool for the job I needed.

Works well removing burrs and cleans pretty easily the rough edges of a model. Much better than a straight edge for control. It does require some patience, as with any sharp edge you can’t just scrape indiscriminately or you’ll go too deep on your 3D model.Has a good weight and the grooves on the handle make it easy to grip.

Watched a youtube video where the maker said that a deburring tool was a must have. I have always just used a regular box cutter or hobby knife and sandpaper/file for cleaning up edges on prints. The deburring tool makes post processing so much easier and faster. Still need to utilize some skill (and caution), but the deburring tool is far less prone to digging in or slipping off the edges. For cleaning up brims, this pivoting blade is far superior to a straight fixed blade. This tool seems to be well made and feels good in the hand. Since I am using it just for PLA, I suspect the extra blades are going to last a very long time.

Purchased this deburring tool to help clean up my prints specifically around moving parts like axles or screws, at that it does exceedingly well. It's not so good with flat surfaces though, for that I'd still stick to using an exacto knife or other preferred methods. The blades are sharp enough for the job, but you have to go slowly with it to start, don't apply too much pressure either or you'll end up ripping your print apart, or worse, breaking the tool. This tools designed to take of little pieces at a time, slowly drag it around the edges using minimal force, let the tool do the work, just go over the same spot 4-5 times and it should get easier with each pass. If you find it's skipping too much, change direction until it smooths out and you can go the other way again.Absolutely would recommend and purchase again if I ever run out of blades (might be a while since there are 16 of them included, 1 on the tool and 15 in a nice little case).I reluctantly take off a single star as I can't take off just 1/2 a star because I feel it would be better if the case were larger and could also hold and keep the tool together with the bits. I'm not a fan of separate parts floating around my already cluttered workshop.UPDATE: Had this deburring tool for nearly 6 months now, I've use it several times daily and have cleaned literally hundreds of 3D prints up, and I am just now needing to change my first blade. Works great with PETG and some PLA+ blends, does not work with PLA Silk at all. Just the nature of the materials, some are easier to work than others. I have not tried on Nylon or ABS prints, though it does work quite well with pre-made ABS food containers.

After years of deburring with a snap blade cutter or sand paper, grinder and whatever, and after seeing several videos of this being used by DIYers and tradesmen alike, I thought I'd give it a try... Glad I did. It's not a "can't live without" sort of tool, but a really "nice to have" nonetheless. Effortlessly deburred drilling holes in 12ga steel and galvanized garage door tracks, and cuts in pvc and abs pipes. Great little all'rounder for a decent price. Would buy again...

I am using this to clean up 3d prints and it is perfect. I had been using an exacto knife and this tool is so much better. It is well made and very sharp.
