These hydraulic hose ends are top notch fittings in both construction and materials. The tooling and ability to build your own hydraulic hoses can save a lot of money in parts and even more in less down time on equipment. This 12 pack is a great value and the swivel end fittings are a holding up in the field as designed. I recommend purchasing these bulk fittings for operations with the right tooling to use them. They are a good product.

A friend has a hydraulic hose crimper. These saved me hundreds and look identical to the Parker fittings..

I haven't had to use these yet, but they are quality hydraulic fittings. The fit and finish of the fittings is excellent and the tolerance is what I expect from a good part.

These are nice fittings to make your own hydraulic hoses. I haven't had a chance to use these because I'm still accessing on whether it's worth the $2K to potentially $10K investment to make your own hoses. I own a tractor with a couple of implements that use hydraulic hoses and thought it might be nice to be able to build my own, but the crimper is insanely expensive and the hose has to be bought in large reels that makes the process only beneficial if you're doing this as a business or replacing a large number of hoses. I have only had one hose start to leak on my tractor in 12 years so I'm not sure it is cost effective to make my own. I will update this review if I decide to purchase the crimper and dies.

I have been giving all the fittings I have acquired from AKM a GOOD SOLID 4 STARS. AKM has on all occasions done everything right. They have proper packaging, good quality and a more than competitive price. Yes, I have gotten these through the VINE program but, if I need something other than the fittings I have so far, AKM will be on my very short list of suppliers to buy from. So, why don't I give AKM 5 stars? Well, I reserve the 5 star rating for things that are KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF cool or innovative. 4 Stars is generally my highest rating for the kind of stuff I use every day. In other words, AKM has my highest rating and I have absolutely no complaints with their products. Keep up the good work AKM!
