Replaced the old impeller housing that was metal with plastic ports that "clip in". This was causing two problem: #1, there was constant water dripping from where the plastic mated up against the metal - not a good seal. #2, there was constant air suction from where the plastic mated up against the metal - also not a good seal.This housing feels and looks like it's solid bronze. It fit perfectly in my engine, and was a great solution to a problem that was a design flaw from Volvo.

Bought this to replace the metal and plastic housing on our 5.0 Gi PEFS. The old one started to leak as the metal and plastic loosened up. It installed easily. The outside casting isn't as nice as the volvo penta version but that isn't really an issue. I have not ran the engine to test function yet. Will update

Kit worked great in my Sunesta 232 with the Volvo Penta 5.0Gl. No more drips!!Comes with everything you need, impeller, o ring, pump, and grease. Make sure to order a new rubber piece that goes in between the inlet/outlet pipe. My old one was completely destroyed.
