Carbon Film Resistors

  • Carbon Film Resistors are manufactured by coating a homogeneous film of pure carbon on high grade ceramic rods. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned connecting leads of electrolytic copper are welded to the end-caps. The resistors are coated with layers of tan color lacquer.
  • Rresistors with ±5% tolerance range,1/8W carbon film and thicker metal pins to have a better connection and stable performance features which help you finish the electrical experiments project faster and more smoothly.

This is a good range of resistances and five of each is a good quantity. They are bigger than typical resistors because of their 5 W power capacity.

Ordered these to get just a single resistor to solder a fix on my Cisco ISR 4000 series router and it worked a treat! Now I have a few hundo extra resistors for other projects in the future! Definitely a great asssortment for any hobbyist who needs them!

All resistors were marked. Very complete set. Can someone tell me what you would use a 0 ohm resistor for, cuz I got ten of them in this set. Happy with purchase.
