Initially I was very impressed with the appearance and fit. I felt it would be a solid radiator that would outlast a radiator with plastic tanks, which was my deciding factor to putchase, but unfortunately it did not last 3 years. On the welded seem of one of the tank corners near the top it has begun to leak. This is in an area that doesn't touch anything, the weld itself has just begun to fail which is dissapointing. Had it lasted longer, I would be quick to putchase another, it's a beautiful radiator besides the leak and has been cooling well. I'm undecided about purchasing a replacement or going back to the OE plastic style, and am now out of my vehicle.

The description it listed our truck however once it came it is not intended for our truck it does not fit unfortunately, the oil and trans are far smaller and our lower rad hose is a clip on with a o ring, the one on the rad that came is just a straight hose.

Good direct fit a better cooling then oem will last alot longer then plastic tanks would highly recommend good product 👌👍

The radiator is of great quality including the welds and I'm a professional welder. The packaging protected everything. Not even one bent finne.No it doesn't fit perfect out of the box like others are saying but you don't need to grind or cut anything on the truck for it to fit with using factory bushings and hardware.The problem is that the welds on the top mounts stick past the edge and the welds on the bottom pins stick up to high. It took me three minutes to round off the welds on the top brackets and grind the pin welds flush to the flat portion that sits on the factory bushings. Do that and it will fit in with about 1/8" to spare. See the pictures. This is for a 05 1500 Silverado.Yes the manufacturer should to this but I would rather pay $100 less or more and spend 3 minutes to get it to fit perfect.

I have to say I was on the fence about this for the price. Its very well built, dropped in and fit perfect! 35yrs as a mechanic, this product is is worth the $! I will shop here again!

Overall this is a 3.5, read below. Application is a 07 GMC Sierra 4x4 on 37's with a 6.0 swap.Radiator quality = 4.7. Welds look real good. I did not see any shift in the core. No leaks under pressure either. Since I have a 6.0 swap I already have the "bigger radiator". See pics. My old radiator obviously is the dirty one. As you can see it lines up, BUT the tabs where the radiator bolts up to the core support are not exactly lined up. I had to use a grinder to elongate the tab so it can line up. Not a big deal. This is the reason for the .3 drop.Radiator cooling = 5. My truck runs about 210 and my fans (GMT-900) are almost always working. With this radiator, they actually shut off. My truck gets to about 204 but cools to the 190's when driving. I'm pointing to my fans now needing an upgrade since they are not on the radiator, covering it completely. I'll switch to the Derale 4000 CFM truck fans as an upgrade. As it sits, this radiator is worth it but just needs a little extra effort to make it work.Trans cooler = 5. I have an external trans cooler and am using this as an additional cooler. Meaning trans line goes to trans cooler in radiator then out to external trans cooler for extra cooling capacity. I'm thinking this is working better according to temps on my sensor. It wasnt bad or even a concern before. So this is fine.Oil cooler = ? I'm sure its a 5. I do not use it yet.Fittings for oil cooler/trans cooler = 2Since this is a GM radiator they should sell the quick connect fittings with it. It comes with the old school nipple type fittings, 2 hose clamps and 1 thin rubber hose. They should give you the part number for the oil cooler and trans cooler GM quick connect fittings. I am ordering the trans cooler fittings because the push on hose leaks. Oil cooler fittings are Dorman 800-605. Trans cooler, I'll see when they get in and will update this review with the part number.Fit = 3Radiator doesnt exactly fit. Super tight. If you use original radiator bushings/mounts, radiator will not fit. It will hit the upper core support. Remove the mounts/bushings. I would buy a sheet of rubber, cut to fit and put it under the end tanks of the radiator. It'll be fine as it wont rub.Packaging=1I dont know exactly what I was supposed to get since fittings were in there loose along with grommets. Example: 4 push on type fittings for oil cooler. Well you need 4 grommets. 3 were missing. Tabs were bent during shipping or packaging. I was able to bend it back. Comes with some sort of "radiator mounts", well, not for my truck. They were waaayyyy too small and would not even function as "radiator mounts". One of the mounts was missing also. Goes back to poor packaging.
