Product Description

The Anderic RR7096T thermostatic remote control replaces the original equipment Hampton Bay and Harbor Breeze ceiling fan remotes. The RR7096T will work right out of the package for compatible Hampton Bay and Harbor Breeze ceiling fan models listed (but not limited to) without any programming (other than aligning the dip-switches to the correct pattern to match your ceiling fan receiver). This remote includes all the fan speeds and light buttons as well as the FAN TIMER, LIGHT DELAY, FAN AUTO, LIGHT TIMER button. The RR7096T remote also works light dimming and temperature settings.

Additional information:

  • This remote only works with Ceiling Fans
  • Replaces the Hampton Bay CHQ7096T remote and the FAN9T remote (FAN9T remote must have a yellow light button & FAN TIMER button, not REVERSE).
  • What's included: RR7096T thermostatic remote control & Wall mount bracket (with two screws for mounting)
  • This remote operates: Down-lights (with dimming), Fan off, Fan speed low, Fan Speed Medium, Fan Speed High, Fan Timer, Light delay, Fan Auto, Light Timer
  • Works with the following receivers (but not limited to): UC7067FCRX, UC70960TX

Warnings:

  • Make sure you are using Incandescent bulbs or your fan will not dim properly.
  • This remote will not control both sets of lights if your fan has UP and DOWN lights. This remote will only operate DOWN lights.

I had two old Hampton Bay ceiling fan/light remote controls which have their FCC ID of CHQ8BT7096T. I found this item (Anderic RR7096T) here on Amazon, but its description has a few missing digits. I took a chance and ordered this item anyway.I received it, and this is the EXACT replacement which matches all of the buttons and their colors:1. The gray "FAN AUTO" button2. The blue fan button3. The gray "FAN TIMER" button4. The gray "LIGHT TIMER" button5. The yellow light button6. The gray "LIGHT DELAY" button7. The gray up "TEMP./SET HOUR" button8. The gray down "TEMP./SET HOUR" buttonAfter the successful first order, I ordered again for my second one. They both worked perfectly with my settings of the little switches inside the battery compartment.For other Amazon shoppers, if you have a Hampton Bay remote control with CHQ8BT7096T, go for it. I have verified it for you.

Our remote for the fan at the cottage died, so I found this one on Amazon, ordered it and it was delivered to the cottage. Perfect, all I had to do was to ensure that the DIP switches were set the same as the original remote, then PRESTO, works great !

This unit is an exact replica of the original. Works perfectly. Hopefully it lasts as long as the original which was somewhere near 15+ years.

Perfect solution! We have an old Hampton Bay fan, where the remote wasn’t working properly. This was a perfect replacement, and the fan works using it!
