Car Dashboard stated “ overheating “ but temp gauge read zero and no sign of a hot engine. Internet said it was the thermostat stuck open, Someone said could be housing, so recommend just buying this housing with thermostat installed and new gasket all together for a decent price because the job isn’t much fun so don’t do it twice!GM hose clips are hard to remove, found it easier to slide them off pipe rather than back. Replaced them using regular screw type as less frustrating and there are 4 hoses to deal with.Installed, no leaks and no more dash lights/alarms, temp gauge reads normal.

Housing leaks at seams. Left me in a bad spot. Machined edges had sharp material left on it. Had to put my old one back in.
