Did not fit .The metal flange was oriented wrong side up. So holes did not line up. Used parts from the old inner hose as better quality, ie: reinforced tubing. And The anti siphon flap failed immediately. You can see it's misplaced. And the aluminum protection piece held on with black tape fell off right away.

Check the holes in your cap before you install cuz mine were offOther than that make sure you keep your original hardware you may need itAnd buy your warranty because this is the second time I had to replace with in a yearFirst time didn’t get and by half of the year start leaking againAnd you need at least 2 people to get the job done.

Product was ok but assembled incorrectly, and the included hose clamp was to small.Hose was placed on flange upside down. Was not easily corrected. Hose was clamped in place. Standard size hose clamp would not fit inside outer hose. Had to reuse the single use clamp. “PITA” (Pain inthe …)At the tank connection the provided clamp was to small to fix over installed hose. I had to use the old one.Minor issues, easily corrected…

This filler tube seems to be exact specs, to get from the tank to the filler port for a 97 Ranger. Length, bends, check. It is Not Easy to install, but that is Ford's design issue, not this tube. Give it only 4 stars, though the materials seem fine, because the only assembled parts were installed, with a factory crimp clamp, 180° Wrong. (The pump nozzle flap is facing up, not down. How did they get that so wrong? ) Surely anyone attempting this replacement would check it out first and find this, but to rotate the metal tube in the rubber one required removing the clamp and 4 strong arms... The predrilled holes do line up perfectly, so once you check and fix the rotation issue, this is a good fit. Good Luck!
