This WOULD be a great product if the extending shaft actually slid out like it is meant to. I sanded the slid out shaft and greased it so it would somewhat slid but a one hour job turned into a four hour job. Had to attach the upper shaft which was difficult but the bottom shaft was a nightmare. Please make a better product.

The plastic cover keeps on slipping off, seems not to fit snugg. Took back to mechanic 3 times and o fix. Costing more to fix then the part itself.

The previous intermediate shaft that was on my Chevy had a mechanism to easily collapse and extend as needed during installation. This "A Premium" one did not work easily at all. I bolted the shaft on the lower end, then I found that I could not pull the shaft out to extend it at all while in place. I took it off, put plenty of grease along the shaft, then pulled and pushed hard on it while removed from the car until it started to work with moderate force. Then when I tried to install, it was still too hard for me to pull, but I finally bolted the top end of the shaft, and pulled on the lower end with a rope around the ujoint, and finally it moved into position. So quite hard to install, but finally it fit and worked.

Fit my 2007 chev cobalt. Really good price too. Don't get the 35 dollar steering shafts, they are junk. This particular one is the best.

Fit perfectly on 2010 Chevy Cobalt. Seems like good quality. Steering is much tighter now.
