This was just what I needed to get my 2014 Ford Explorer steering in the right way. My vehicle was experiencing trouble with its steering response. It was due to the lower U-Joint of the steering shaft seizing up. This part was a direct replacement for the original equipment. I would recommend that when you remove the old steering shaft that you have help. It was a pain removing it on my own. When you install the new shaft install the lower section first. It is easier installing the top section after the lower part has been connected. Overall, this part has restored the steering of the vehicle. I recommend this item.

It looks like a very well made part. It fit perfectly and performs just like the original. The worst part of the insulation was the pop-clamp at the seal. The price is amazing, I can replace it 3 times for what it was going to cost locally. I wish it had a lube fitting on the lower joint. That's the failure point.
