Over the course of 3 days the calibration of the temperature is off. It only heats up when you take it out of the water. I've lost a bunch of shrimp because they need higher heat and this won't maintain the temperature.

I've had this heater in a 60 gallon tank with it at 80 and it is barely keeping it at 73. The thermometer they send registers 3 degrees higher than the actual water temp.

It is a nice heater. definitely does what it is supposed to do. The temperature reader that comes with the heater does not work well at all.

Help! This heater cooked my fish! It was set at 68 degrees and when I woke up, all my fish is dead! This item is dangerous! The temperature went close to 100 degrees! Its only been a couple months for usage of this product, this is dangerous for fish. I brought in Nov 23 and it is now end of March 24. I tried to return product but it was over the deadline.
