Works extremely well at pressurizing my truck canopy for when I travel on gravel roads. Without it a layer of road dust filters into the canopy. Without it them installed while you drive it pressurizes the cap and no dust filters into.

This is a nice quality intake cover. The stainless steel, while very thin, is high enough quality to resist pitting and rust spots from being left exposed to the elements. The plastic intake piece is also made from pretty thin plastic but does the job well.

I say it all look well made, but it not a work of art. Could it be even better, sure... Does it need to be better... No !I would have liked to see a bit more rubberized seal, or instruction in how to make sure there is no water infiltration, but that not a big deal. The plastic is a tiny bit rubberized, but it still pretty stiff, so I wouldn't found on that.No screw were provided with it, and they will be visible, so you will have to deal with that yourself.
